In the hills of Ooty, near the iconic boathouse, perches an erstwhile palace that resonates the majestic era that has gone by. Our heritage property, The Palace by the Lake is inspired by the Hawa Mahal of Jaipur. Finely built by a connoisseur every wall of the mansion is an epitome of the grandeur and the vivid remnants of the Rajput kings’ lifestyle.
And there is more to what makes this palace so special, well the architecture is a true marvel, the entire palace has been built without any using bricks or cement in the construction at all.
In fact to construct the build, craftsmen were invited from Rajasthan build this palace.
It took 7 long years to design and build this magnificent structure and what is worth is observing is the precision with which it was built.
The palace is a beautiful 3bhk property, and each room is designed in a manner to showcase how a king’s, queen’s and Prince’s Room would look like.
To elucidate further, every Palace Room has an artistically -inspired décor with wooden lattice & araish work ceilings and discrete niches. Each room is unique in size and is adorned with traditional Indian styling and furniture.
The palatial outhouse has been converted into a gym to suit the call of today, and has a stunning view of the lake and the mountains that wouldn’t want you to stop working out.
In total it’s a sheer manifestation of the bygone eras, that you can experience and relive with us.
